Arc 2: Dr. Robert and the Study of Human Emotion

Inside Dr. Robert's laboratory, Eidolon and Eidos move around living patients as bio-artificial cells search for disease at its earliest stages.

TECHMAN Part One: Age of Super & Quantum Computing

Aaron's story begins at eight years old. A catastrophic accident leaves his father with one option: an experimental brain chip designed to save his son's life.
Aaron survives, but the technology eventually forces his family to leave India and begin again under new identities in Australia.
Part One follows the consequences of that technology through a series of incidents involving advanced computing and emerging threats.
In one storyline, a train traveling at 130 km/h loses its brakes while twenty meters of track are missing. Australia's railway network turns against itself. Aaron saves his tutor's train before the virus mutates and threatens another train carrying his mother.

Another chapter moves through 1917, 1944 and 4271 BCE as a military simulator shifts from World War I to Omaha Beach and then to an alien battlefield featuring a language nobody programmed. Aaron responds to the language rather than translating it.
Elsewhere, Aaron's suit is designed to defeat cameras, infrared and radar. The building detects him through heat, heartbeat, breathing and moving air, then adapts to his movements.

Part One also introduces Dr. Robert's development of Eidolon and Eidos, the machines that progress to human trials in Part Two.
